Learn, play and connect online in our Comedy Essentials class for Teens (ages 12 and up). Taught by working actor and audition coach Tiffany Berube, this fun and insightful six-week class will prepare you to audition for TV comedies.

Tiffany will help you Find the Funny in Comedy Scripts, Navigate the TV Industry and deliver your best On-Camera Performance. 

Teen Comedy Essentials is an age-appropriate adaptation of our Adult Comedy Essentials course and will give you powerful tools you will use throughout your lifetime.

We teach you world class script analysis to lay the foundation for outstanding auditions. Writers and producers hire actors, not casting directors. About

Teen Comedy Essentials is a comprehensive, 6-week course and prerequisite to our ongoing classes for Teens. This is the starting point for learning to act for television comedy.

Advanced and working actors are welcome to begin in Teen Audition Code or Pro Workout, depending on experience and instructor approval. Please contact our studio for more information.

Tiffany Berube is a sitcom and commercial actor, indie TV and sketch writer and producer. She also co-chairs the Industry Workshop Program at ACS, where she educates students on the business of on-camera acting and connects them with casting directors, producers and directors. Currently she is on the teaching staff at Actors Comedy Studio as well as the American Academy of Dramatic Arts-LA.

Tiffany recently developed the Commercial Acting and Auditioning class for Teens and Young Adults at The Academy at Edge Performing Arts Center. Tiffany loves helping kids and teens express themselves through the arts and mentoring young actors as they find their path in the industry.

Tiffany provides a supportive, nurturing environment for all of her students. 😉

No. This is the starting point for learning to act for television comedy.

I have zero experience. Will I be okay?

Yes! Our program is built to accommodate young actors learning from scratch and experienced actors who want our specialized training in television comedy.

What is the class size?

Each online class section is limited to a maximum of 14 students.

How often does Comedy Essentials meet?

Once a week, online, for six consecutive weeks.

What if I miss a class?

You can email your instructor at info@actorscomedystudio.com for notes and any materials handed out in class. This 6-week course does not have a make-up option.

How do I sign up for a course?

For Teen Comedy Essentials, you can register online and pay for the course using a credit card or debit card. Please tell us the NAME and AGE of the student in the “Notes” section during checkout.

Can I check out the class before signing up?
