Online Class with Devon Brady
Devon Brady is currently working with a busy LA casting office, Doro/Sherwood Casting, who work in TV, Film, and New Media. Devon has worked on many projects, including: Warped, Drama Club, Liza on Demand, All That, Alexa and Katie, and Sydney to the Max! Since graduating from the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts at Chapman University in 2013, Devon Brady has worked with and encountered multiple sides of the entertainment industry. He spent his first few years post-grad working in the HR / Administrative department of Lionsgate Entertainment. Following that, he tried his hand at management, working as an Associate Talent Manager at Bx2 Entertainment, where he helped coordinate and pursue work for on-camera personalities, social media influencers, and burgeoning actors. He has spent the last 4 years working within the realm of casting, where he’s where he’s aided in assembling actors for hit series on Disney Channel, Netflix, YouTube Premium and Nickelodeon, as well as independent features. In March 2022, he won his first Artios Award alongside Doro/Sherwood Casting for his work on All That, and is currently nominated again for the series Warped.

Format Note: This class will take place entirely online via Zoom.
You will receive an email with the Zoom link at least 2 hours before class start time.
Sides Note: Prepared Reads – Choose Your Own Sides
Prepare any scene that has been pre-approved (or choose one from our Workshop Sides page). Your scene must not run longer than 3 minutes. You will perform your scene with our reader. Check out our FAQ’s page for more information on what material is allowed.
Actors will perform their sides one-on-one with the reader to help better train for real world conditions. They will receive customized notes and feedback from Devon, and then run selected sections again to incorporate the educational instruction. Be sure to bring in your questions about the industry!
