Teen Two-Week Intensive with Zachary Spiegel

This is a special Two-Week intensive class for ages 11-18 with casting professional Zachary Spiegel.

Zachary Spiegel is currently working with Bullock and Snow, a busy LA casting office.

 

Our Teen Industry Workshop Program is an extension of the Kids & Teens Division at Actors Comedy Studio (ACS). Workshops are open to all young actors ages 11-18. Our Kids & Teens Division is headed by ACS Co-Founder and on-set Studio Teacher/Welfare Worker Lauren Bertoni, and supported by arts educator, audition coach and working actor Tiffany Berube. Lauren and Tiffany provide a supportive, nurturing environment for all of their students and are invested in helping them navigate the entertainment industry. Join us!

More about our guest, Zachary Spiegel:

Zach is currently an Associate Casting Director at Bullock and Snow Casting in Los Angeles, an office that has proudly worked on many Nickelodeon favorites, including: Kenan and Kel, Drake and Josh, Zoey 101, The Amanda Show, Victorious, Sam and Cat, iCarly, Game Shakers, and most recently Henry Danger.
​Prior to moving to Los Angeles in the summer of 2019, he was based in New York City for seven years. There, he was a performer, and his favorite role to play was Mary Sunshine in Chicago regionally. He then transitioned into casting his final year in New York and was the Associate Casting Director at Franck Casting  as well as the Casting Director for the Musical Theatre Factory  in residency with Playwrights Horizons for their 2018-2019 season. His second love after casting is coaching actors of all ages, levels, abilities, and identities.

    • WEEK ONE: CHOOSE YOUR OWN PREPARED SCENES
    • WEEK TWO: PREPARE YOUR ASSIGNED SCENES. ZACH WILL ASSIGN SIDES FROM HIS COLLECTION!

Format Note: This class will take place entirely online via Zoom.

You will receive an email with the Zoom link at least 2 hours before class start time.

Sides Note: Prepared Reads – Choose Your Own Sides (Week 1) & Assigned Sides (Week 2)

Prepare any scene that has been pre-approved (or listed in the TEEN section on our Workshop Sides page). Your scene must not run longer than 3 minutes. You will perform your scene with our reader. Check out our FAQ’s page for more information on what material is allowed.

Prepare your scene as you would for a real audition! Actors will perform their sides one-on-one with the reader to help better train for real world conditions.  They will receive customized notes and feedback from Devon, and then run selected sections again to incorporate the educational instruction. Be sure to bring in your questions about the industry!
